Releases: PHENGOX/Instaurix
Release list
Instaurix v0.1.1-alpha
Instaurix v0.1.1-alpha
This experimental update introduces the Instaurix name and advances the reference runtime, memory handling, software display and GPU copy interpreter.
Changes
- Extended HLE services allow reference applications to complete default libnx initialization, reach
mainand clean up. - Software framebuffer presentation supports one, two and three buffers.
- Added modular GPU profiles and a bounded historical Maxwell copy interpreter supporting linear copies, pitched 2D copies and restricted block-linear source conversion.
- Guest reference programs generate their own copy commands and verify output bytes, padding, guards and hashes.
- Sparse memory tracking reduces the measured legacy test's peak memory usage to approximately 104 MiB.
- Added automatic Windows test diagnostics and expanded English documentation.
Validation
- 127/127 CTest suites passed locally in Windows Debug and Release.
- The update passed all four GitHub CI configurations: Ubuntu and Windows, Debug and Release.
- Reference binaries and the existing CPU LFS datasets retain their recorded hashes.
Current limitations
No commercial games or native Switch 2 compatibility have been validated.
The ARM64 CPU remains incomplete. GPU copying currently uses a CPU-side historical HLE interpreter; it does not demonstrate general GPU rendering, shader execution or native hardware synchronization. Audio and commercial-game loading remain unvalidated.
Acknowledgments

Switch2Emu v0.1.0-alpha
Switch2Emu v0.1.0-alpha
Licence

Development focuses on the foundations of ARM64 emulation, program loading, and the progressive implementation of system services.
Current Features
- ARM64 interpreter with partial instruction support.
- Paged memory and a memory bus with test peripherals.
- Loading of ARM64 binary programs and ELF files.
- Development of a reference HLE environment.
- Automated tests and reproducible reference programs.
- Interactive demo available in the repository.
Limitations
- No commercial games have been validated as compatible.
- Native Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility has not been demonstrated.
- The CPU and system services remain incomplete.
- The GPU, audio, native input support, and many hardware features remain to be implemented.
Build and Testing
