RAM upgrade

Good day.

I have seen your really good job concerning this accelerator board for the AMIGA.

I just wonder if it's possible to add more RAM up to :

4x 1mb SRAM = 4 mb

AS6C1008-55PCN
SRAM 1Mb, 2.7V-5.5V, 55ns 128K x 8 Asynch SRAM

4x 4mb SRAM = 16 mb

AS6C4008-55PCN
SRAM 4M, 2.7-5.5V, 55ns 512K x 8 Asynch SRAM

Is there something that needs to be changed in the program?

Memory address?

Hi There,

Please don't confuse 1 MB with 1Mb. 1 Megabit verses 1 Megabyte. AS6C4008-55PCN is what I am currently using and 4 devices offers 2 Megabytes maximum expansion. RAM chips could be piggy-backed however the CPLD firmware would need to be modified to support a larger addressed space.
