Sometimes the app process finishes but the notification remains in the media carousel with only a play button. After this happens, the play button does not continue playback. This may be connected to #2110 but I'm not sure as I havent't noticed any error messages.
Actually, I've explored the matter and managed to make the button work by adding a receiver to the manifest as shown in the documentation. Should I open a pull request?
