Upgrading SD Card while keeping library progress?

I currently have a 256gb micro sd card and am replacing it for a 512gb as I'm running out of room (mostly audiobooks and radio programmes)

I copied everything across to the new card exactly, but my library has gone despite it still being located in SDCard/Audiobooks/

When I reinsert my old card it reappears.

Ive tried adding the 'new' location to the library hoping that would work but it just tried to load everything as new.

I'd really like to keep my Progress and Artwork

Any ideas how to get round this?
