my($:) - wrong error message #76

From @tamias(I report this with perlbug for 5.004_04, but I have verified the problem Perl outputs the wrong error message when the special variable $: is % perl -e 'my($:);' It should give the same error message as all the other special variables: % perl -e 'my($!);' But it outputs the error message for a package variable being lexicalized: % perl -e 'my $::foo' Site configuration information for perl 5.00404: Configured by sting at Fri Jan 9 23:03:03 EST 1998.
