An audio plugin based on userscript for the CUHK cantonese dictionary which could not playback audio naturally on Safari.
This plugin DOES NOT send data to third parties and external parties by itself. The sole purpose is to enable audio playback on the CUHK Cantonese Dictionary site(CDS) using Safari. 此插件本身不會向第三方和外部各方發送數據。 此插件的唯一的目的是讓Safari 能夠播放在香港中文大學粵語審音配詞字庫中的粵語正音音頻檔案。
由於香港中文大學粵語審音配詞字庫已建立一段時間， 目前無法在Safari上播放音頻，為解決此問題特此完成了這個插件。 本插件的使用和其他插件一樣，不需要額外的腳本管理軟件及腳本便能正常運作。本插件亦十分簡短， 僅35行，如有疑慮這可自行改進或加入插件到你的瀏覽器。 本插件不會修改香港中文大學粵語審音配詞字庫的使用者介面。 Due to the age of the CUHK CDS, the audio playback of the searched word was currently failing on Safari(and only Safari AFAIK). To solve the issue, this script reenables Safari to playback the audio by manipulating the elements in the "main" frame. This Plugin is easy to use and does not require any extern script manager(except the userscript manager) and script to function properly. This plugin is also very short only consisting of 35 lines of code(actual JS codes), if this plugin still concerns you, you may take a look at the javascript code yourself and improve and implement this same plugin in your own way. This plugin also does not affect the UI of the CUHK CDS site.
