Not sure if this is an eve issue or something in EVE-O.

When I resize one of my clients to less than full screen, the mouse acts as if the client is full screen. So if I move my mouse half way down my screen, the "clicker" or highlight moves half way down the resized eve client. The mouse icon stays in the right spot though (and its off the eve window).

EDIT: I was in Fixed Window mode.

EDIT 2: When I hit esc and got the exit menu, then hit esc to close it, it resized. I'm guessing because the window size was still set to 1920x1080.

@Ligraph: Coud you take care of this issue or at least provide more details?
Fix should be in a separate branch, not in the one used for the 'independant thumb sizes' pull request

Also, for branching, should I create a new branch off of develop or off of my independent thumbnail sizes branch? Not sure how github will merge them.

I'm working on it, but not sure how far I'll be able to get, because it seems like it might be a problem with eve's resolution setting. Also, scaling the client layout scales the image in the thumbnail unrill you activate it. That I should be able to fix at least.

Off develop. That will be my pain to merge them later
Btw could you please drop a shrt in-game mail from the char you want to see in the release credits later?

Does the same behavior reproduce if EOP is not running or when this EVE client's thimbnail is hidden via the checkbox ? EOP cannot affect anyting in EVE client, but DWM (Windows Manager) can.

Can't check atm (something in eve came up). There are some oddities I need to look into with windowed mod vs fixed window vs fullscreen.

Ok, so with testing, it seems that it is a DWM/EVE issue, and has nothing to do with EVE-O (it still happens when eve-o is closed). What I have so far:

In windowed mode, resizing works, but the UI doesn't resize so all icons are regular size (mostly unusable). Also, when you move the window it resizes back to regular size. It seems like the 'window' is full size and only the eve is resized (you can see the frames if you move the resized window).

In Fixed Window mode, you get the mouse ratio problem I described above.

In full screen mode it does nothing.

Something new: moving from windowed mode to fixed window causes the mouse-position bug not to happen, but the UI stays the same (windowed mode) scale.

I think I'm out of my depth here, I have no clue how the DWM-EVE relationship works. I think that maybe if you got the EVE resolution (in the settings pane) to change it might help? No clue how to do that.

Beware when testing this: somehow the UI scaling messed up my UI, and I had to redo it, make a backup.

I found the same thing long before discovering eve-o, and it seems to be between client profile settings and rendering /location recognition issue for 'odd' resolutions. If you have setup unique profiles for each client (ref: #153 (comment)), then reload the character/client* after resizing the window, you should be good.
- *sometimes logging back to character screen and back into game works, sometimes the client has to be exited completely.
