current flow

  1. user opens community question > new open ticket in zendesk
  2. I comment on the community question > zendesk ticket is still open, but on /questions it is marked as "pending"

also when someone sets the ticket to pending (in zendesk), but the question gets a new message the zendesk ticket will stay in the pending state

  • set tickets to pending after a team member commented
  • open ticket after new comments
  • add pending as a status

another option would be to add an additional reply button: reply and set to pending, similar to how zendesk works
