Submit after login caused weird behaviour

When posting a reply here, I went to login before submitting and when it succeeded I was greeted with the original post duplicated. On reload, the post and my reply were there as they should be

Also generally, "login and post" felt really uncomfortable. I would have much preferred "login before you can reply" and then the ability to post my reply otherwise I felt uncertain what was going to happen (and even more uncertain after encountering this bug 😅)
