Alex, a search and rescue robot, has the potential to carry out the following:
- Map the environment it is in
- Transmit relevant data of its current position to the user (located in a different area)
- Avoid obstacles and quickly traverse in and out of rooms
- Be energy efficient in order to last a longer duration

Used both Arduino and Visual Studio IDE to code. Was coded in C/++ language. Alex was being tele-operated and hence was controlled remotely using commands.
