How do I install this mod?

  1. Download Minecraft v1.18.2 - 40.1.0 on https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/ (If you don't have it, click on this link, which will directly download the installer https://maven.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.18.2-40.1.0/forge-1.18.2-40.1.0-installer.jar)
  2. Run the jar file with java. If you don't have it, you can install java from here https://www.java.com/en/download/
  3. Go to the Java Edition install directory (C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft) and find a folder named "mods" (or make one)
  4. Copy (or cut) and Paste RedWiresMod.jar into that folder
  5. you're done :)))

Does this mod have a specific theme?

no lol, I just thought of mod ideas in my head and then made it real.

Weapons

  • Lava Bow (Uses lava buckets as ammo, places lava wherever the projectile lands, deals 8 damage per hit)
  • Water Bow (Uses water buckets as ammo, places water wherever the projectile lands... except when in the nether. deals 8 damage per hit)
  • Grenade Launcher (Launches grenades that explode instantly instead of having a 1.5s delay.)
  • Block-Placing bow (The block placed is based on the last slot of your Hotbar (slot 8))
  • Sandgrave Bow (instantly spawns a 9x9x5 (Length, Width, Height) sand pit, used mainly to suffocate an enemy. Totally not a reference to anything in particular)
  • Real Knife (Unobtainable in Survival, deals 99 damage)
  • Molotov (burns a 5x5x5 area and can be thrown slightly further than potions, deals 4 damage if the Molotov directly hits an entity.)
  • Flame Thrower (Burns a 3x3x3 area, deals 2 damage per projectile)
  • Chainsaw (Added as part of nightmareMode, deals 100,000 damage.)
  • Grenade (Somewhat like TNT, has a 1.5s delay before exploding)
  • Sniper (deals 20 damage and has a very high range with a 2-second cooldown)
  • Shotgun (range-based damage, can deal up to 10 damage)
  • Land Mine (Instantly explodes upon touch, can also cause chain explosions with other land mines)
  • Jerry Can (Duration of 128, places oil blocks that can spread fires quickly)
  • Freeze Bow (Freezes entities for 3 seconds, additionally applies Fragility to Blazes. Deals 4 damage per hit, and has lower damage to compensate for the suffocation gimmick.)

Foods

  • Cooked Egg (heals 5 hunger bars)
  • Cooked Cactus (Green Dye is instead crafted like every other dye, heals 5 hunger bars)
  • Baguette (bread but l o n g, combinable with 2 pieces of bread and 10 hunger bars (x2 bread), as you'd probably expect)
  • Burger (combination of Bread and Cooked Beef, heals 13 hunger bars)
  • Godly Apple (Gives the same effects of an enchanted golden apple but with a +1 amplifier to most effects)

Misc. Items

  • Wither Spawn Egg
  • Iron Golem Spawn Egg
  • Ender Dragon Spawn Egg
  • Illusioner Spawn Egg
  • Snow Golem Spawn Egg
  • Recall Potion (teleports you wherever you last right-clicked a bed in the surface world, or to just the default world spawn if you never right-clicked on a bed.)
  • Wolf Item Manager (right-clicking on a tamed wolf lets them pick up loot. if they currently have something equipped, they'll drop it to you).
  • Block Replacing Stick (replaces any block with the last slot in your Hotbar aka slot 8. you also get the block you replaced back)
  • Auto-Bridger (automatically places block below you, block being based on slot 8 of your inventory, aka the last slot of your Hotbar)
  • Slime Trap (Applies Slowness II to an entity upon being stepped on. Does not apply for entities with Slowness II or higher, but does for entities with Slowness I)
  • Ender Stick (Increases your reach distance to 32 and allows you to teleport anywhere within that range. Damages you for 4 hearts like an ender pearl.)
  • Entity to Spawn Egg Converter (has a registry name of entity_egg_converter for the sake of name shortening. Does not work properly with named mobs, though you could rename a mob (ex: a wolf) to another entity (ex: "wither") and you would get the wither spawn egg)
  • Fire Extinguisher (Extinguishes a 5x5x5 area)
  • Upvote, used to make the Amplifier Increaser potion
  • Infinity, used to make the Item Duping and Time Reversing Alt potions if used with a regular Time Reversing potion
  • Hourglass, used to make the Time Reversing potion
  • Non Fungible Token, used to make the NFT potion
  • Bandage
  • Medkit
  • Medmist
  • Repair Torch (Has a duration of 200 and repairs whatever item you have in your off-hand. Has a 0.15-second cooldown and repairs 2 damage points per use. Cannot repair other Repair Torches to prevent infinite tool repairing.)
  • Entity Provoker (Upon right-clicking any entity with it, it will automatically rotate itself to a certain position and shoot an arrow that deals 0 damage. This is to get any entity that gets hit by the arrow to attack it (ex: you can make an iron golem kill a pig))
  • Entity Dragger (right-click on an entity with this item to drag it wherever with your cursor, and right-click on it again with the item to release it.)
  • Iron Key (basically a portable button, letting you open Iron Doors and Iron Trapdoors.)

Potions (and effects)

  • Flying (brewable with a shulker shell)
  • Levitation (brewable with a flying potion and fermented spider eye)
  • Withering (Brewable with a wither rose)
  • Debuff Immunity (brewable with a Godly Apple)
  • Buff Immunity (brewable with a Debuff Immunity potion and a fermented spider eye)
  • Haste (brewable with a Golden Pickaxe)
  • Mining Fatigue (brewable with a Haste potion and a Fermented Spider Eye)
  • Absorption (brewable with a Golden Apple)
  • Resistance (brewable with an Enchanted Golden Apple)
  • Nausea (brewable with Poisonous Potato)
  • Dolphins Grace (brewable with a tropical fish + any swiftness potion that isn't swiftness II)
  • Luck + Unluck potions (Unobtainable in survival.)
  • Glowing (brewable with awkward potion and glowstone dust)
  • Blindness (brewable with a glowing potion and a fermented spider eye. When applied to regular entities, their follow range changes to 2)
  • Hunger (brewable with Rotten Flesh)
  • Fragility (effected entities take x2 more damage from all sources, brewable with a resistance potion and fermented spider eye. Brewable with a Resistance potion and fermented spider eye)
  • Item Duping (changes the stack count for the item you hold in your main hand + off-hand to 64 for each tick. Brewable with the infinity item)
  • Milk potion (made this purely to not have to remove effects from entities with the /effect command. Brewable with a bucket of milk)
  • Time Reversing (Increases all non-instant effect time on the player. I don't know why I made this!!!!!!!!!!!! Higher amplifier = greater time increase. Brewable with the Hourglass)
  • Time Reversing Alt (Time Reversing, except it also increases its own time. Brewable with an Infinity item and a Time Reversing potion)
  • Amplifier Increaser (self-explanatory. Brewable with Upvote)
  • Death Countdown. self-explanatory.
  • Lethal Poison (Combo of Poison + Fragility, brewable with a Poison Potion and a wither rose)
  • Agony (any entity that takes damage will keep taking that damage until the effect wears off or they die, essentially poison/withering but without a damage cap)
  • Uno Reverse (literally just the uno reverse card but in potion form except you can increase the amplifier to multiply the damage reflected)
  • Frozen (Forces entities to stay still and places ice relative to their width and height, suffocating the entity. Although this is primarily a negative effect, it does extinguish entities if they're burning.)

Game rules

  • doFunnyVineBoom (plays the vine boom sound effect when damaged)
  • keepPoints (If you die and keepPoints is enabled, you keep your balance and Points-Per-Minute. If disabled, both are reset to 0.)
  • doSlimeSpawning (toggles whether slimes should spawn or not, Magma Cubes are also included.)
  • respawnLastClickedBed (respawns you to wherever you last right-clicked a bed, whether it's destroyed or not in the overworld.)
  • insanityMode (Gives you the fragility effect with an amplifier of 255 and is unremovable)
  • imFuckingPissedMode (the polar opposite of insanityMode where you can one-shot about every entity, for the sake of releasing your anger on block game.)
  • relentlessFire (magma blocks set you on fire + being on fire will spawn more fire on blocks unless you can extinguish yourself)

  • nightmareMode (Makes Minecraft even harder, an idea my friend came up with. What this mode does:
  • Gives you a death countdown that is 20 minutes long. Chests are scattered around the map that have the time-reversing potion that push the countdown back by 3 minutes.
  • Begin with 10 health points instead of 20. Increasing your max health is by equipping armor with a protection value over 10.
  • Creepers have an explosion force of 64 instead of 3.
  • Raw meat has a 90% chance to give you poison III for 50 seconds.
  • Cooked meat has a 5% chance to give you poison I for 20 seconds.
  • Being lit on fire gives you the fragility effect for 60 seconds.
  • Ender dragon hits have a 10% chance to launch you off the map.
  • Pillager commanders wield chainsaws.
  • The /shop command cannot be used.
  • Taking drowning damage (or any damage while drowning) pushes you into the water, similar to early Minecraft versions.
  • Automatically changes a few other gamerules to the following:
  • universalAnger: true
  • forgiveDeadPlayers: false
  • Spiders can latch onto you, dealing constant damage like fire. However, it makes spiders able to be insta-killed.
  • Oh... and don't try drinking milk to get rid of the death countdown effect. That's only going to kill you faster.)

  • ImmunityNeutrality (toggles whether or not Buff Immunity and Debuff Immunity can co-exist as potion effects)
  • Insta-Explosion Creepers (sets their Fuse value to 0, making it so creepers immediately explode when close enough)
  • Auto-Ignited Creepers (sets the ignited value of creepers to true upon spawning, making creepers live only to explode right after. Deadly when combined with insta-explosion creepers)
  • gottaGoFast (makes entities that target you (or other entities) gain Swiftness III)
  • craftSpecialItems (When enabled, lets you craft a bunch of items that are normally only accessible in creative mode (The craftable items in question are end portal frames, mob spawners, heads/skulls (crafting a player head automatically changes the head to your skin), Elytras, and the rest are all spawn eggs))

Other random mod details

  • Bonemeal is useable on sugarcanes.
  • Regeneration potions can be made into Poison potions with a fermented spider eye.
  • Decreased the coal block smelting time from 16000 -> 14400 ticks (72 items), making it true to its crafting recipe.
  • Increased all wood block (except for planks) (log/wood/stripped log/stripped wood) smelting time from 300 -> 1200 ticks (6 items)
  • Increased all wood pressure plate smelting time from 300 -> 600 ticks (6 items)
  • Increased all wood boat smelting time from 1200 -> 1500 ticks (7.5 items)

  • Increased all wood fences smelt time from 150 -> 500 ticks (2.5 items)
  • Killing entities gives you points based on their max health x10, except for the wither which gives 9,000,000 points and the ender dragon giving 27,000,000.
  • Crying obsidian can be smelted or blasted into regular obsidian
  • If weaponspam is set to true, freeze time will stack for withers.
  • Harvesting wheat with an item with the Fortune command will give you more wheat instead of just more seeds.

Shitpost stuff

  • Uno Reverse Card (Like the thorns enchantment, but funni. Unobtainable in survival cause this would be way too OP. Gives you Regeneration, Saturation, Resistance and Slow Falling (unless a player is holding it, then they get Flying instead) and damages the enemy.)
  • The shit block. Don't think I need to elaborate on this any further
  • Laxatives. Using this on any entity will make it shit 64 shit blocks, except for chickens which shit eggs instead. Can be consumed for 1 hunger bar and be consumed even if your hunger bar is full)
  • NFT Potion + Effect (effected entities go into crippling debt and then fucking die)
  • Seizure potion (Makes an entity violently and randomly teleport to random locations for each tick. The higher the amplifier, the more random and violent the teleportation)
  • Cranking 90's Effect (effected entities do the same thing as a seizure potion except they go continuously upward and spawn oak planks below them. Brewable with a seizure potion and autobridger)
  • feeding a cookie to a dog causes it to fucking explode (Cheats need to be enabled)

Shop command

Command Arguments:

  • balance [?get] (sends a chat with your balance)
  • balance set [amount/inf] (Lets you manually change your balance to whatever number you type. You need to have cheats enabled to use this)
  • sell [itemid] [amount/max] (Sell a certain number of items, selling gives 80% of the buying price.. except for NFTs cause you get nothing xddddd)
  • buy [itemid] [amount/max] (Buy a certain number of items)
  • ppm [?get] (sends a chat with your current points-per-minute)
  • ppm add [amount/max] (Adds a specific number of points to your balance every minute, the Points-Per-Minute formula is 1,500 points per each 10,000 you spend.)
  • ppm set [amount/inf] (Lets you change your PPM to whatever number you type. You need to have cheats enabled)
  • ppm chatnotifs [boolean] (turns the chat notifications on or off)
  • buyenchantment [fullenchantmentid] (Gives you an enchantment book with the provided enchantment and max level for that enchantment.)
  • buylevels [amount/max] (Cost to buy each level is 200,000 points. Absolute max level you can have in-game is 1,000,000,000. There is a 50,000 limit for each time the command is run to prevent the game from lagging a lot)
  • gacha (I fucking hate games with gacha)
  • donate [player] [amount] (gives the specified player an amount of points. If the amount is above your max balance then it will be set to your balance.)

InfBridging command

  • Toggles whether blocks should be consumed when you use the auto-bridger.

Clearitems command

  • Literally just '/kill @e[type=item]' but shortened. Can be used without cheats.

Weaponspam command

  • Lets you choose whether to keep the cooldowns for modded bows + guns off or on.

Infblockplacing command

  • Toggles whether blocks should be consumed when you shoot the block placing bow.

Back command

  • Teleports you back to your last death spot. Apparently this was a thing in early Minecraft versions, so I simply added it back.

Autosmelt command

  • autosmelt usefuel - goes through your inventory and smelts items that can be smelted if you have enough fuel; if you don't, the command stops. The command itself can be executed without cheats.
  • autosmelt addfuel - Adds fuel, only accepts charcoal, coal or coal blocks. (to balance the powerfulness of being able to smelt items instantly, fuel items only give half their fuel)
  • autosmelt getfuel - tells you your current fuel amount
  • autosmelt setfuel [amount/inf] - allows you to set your fuel to any amount, requires cheats to be enabled.

Durability command

Similar to the /enchantment command, this is based on the item you hold in your main hand.

  • durability set [amount] - sets the durability of the item.
  • durability damage [amount] - damages the durability by the given amount.
  • durability reset - makes the item good as new.

Fling command

  • Flings specified entities.

Cmdrepeat command

  • Lets you repeat a command a given amount of times, max 1,000.

Sethealth command

  • Lets you set the health of specified entities. Minimum health limit is 1.
