Releases: Rexios80/hds_overlay
12.0 - New Beginnings (Again)
This is not a release. All new builds of the desktop app will be hosted here. The new desktop app is much lighter on resources and easier to maintain. While I don't intend to break the builds on this page, they are deprecated and may stop working at any time.
11.0
The desktop app no longer contains the overlay. This is to avoid confusion. The desktop app still sends data to the browser source the same way.
In other news: HDS Cloud is very close to release!
10.6.1
Fixed a bug where editing the overlay after loading a profile would edit the profile as well
10.6
- Added a scale factor option for all data widgets. Change the data to any units you want.
- Overlay profiles. Save and load your overlay configuration.
- Fixed many issues with the socket client connections. The web overlay at hds.dev should connect more reliably now.
10.5
Support sending data to other clients that connect besides the watch. This includes the new web page at https://hds.dev. You can set the background color to transparent and use it as a browser source in OBS.
10.3
- Fixed text color not working for heart rate
- HDS overlays can now communicate with each other and show their data. Steps to set up:
- Set your app's client name in the settings
- Add the other overlay's IP address in the settings (you're probably going to want to use something like ZeroTier to allow the communication)
- Add widgets with your app's client name as the data source in the other overlay
The old overlay is no longer supported. Please switch over to this one as soon as is convenient. Make sure to join the TestFlight for the Apple Watch app since Apple is being slow at approving my update. Some features in the new overlay will not function without it.
10.2
The new overlay is finally released on the Windows store and App Store!
New features in this version:
- Print the data source name next to data messages in the log
The old overlay is no longer supported. Please switch over to this one as soon as is convenient. Make sure to join the TestFlight for the Apple Watch app since Apple is being slow at approving my update. Some features in the new overlay will not function without it.
