Hello, my name is Aditya Ganti, a Computer Science
Masters' student at Seattle University, with a specialization in Software Engineering
. I've taken, and passed, the world's toughest engineering exam. That thought process & mindset is what I bring to build great software.
I'm currently collaborating with a Seattle-based startup for my Masters' CAPSTONE Project, building a stock-analysis tool that allows users to define and visualize custom metrics for their watchlists.
I've also been a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Seattle University for the entire duration of my program, having supervised Database Systems
, Web Development
, Object-Oriented Programming
and Security in Computing
courses.
In addition to my coursework, I interned as an SDE at Storable last summer. My internship had me working on a platform service, where
- I pushed code into production! (I'm super proud of this)
- I created new API endpoints, and sanitized input payloads
- Wrote tests that covered every line of code I added.
- I used MikroORM to implement DTOs, and wrote custom data models.
- The infrastructure I built acted like an abstraction layer, data normalization layer & API contract.
- Worked on creating a Typescript NPM package for abstracting API calls
- Worked directly with the senior software architect of the company
- The art of "Getting Unblocked" is my greatest strength, he said
- Conducted a workshop on JWT, AuthZ, & AuthN, for the entire office
- Senior engineers started arguing, so I learnt an INSANE amount in only 30 mins :p
My undergraduate CAPSTONE project involved React, nodeJS, Express and Firebase. I created a web-app that analyzes the user's yoga pose, scores it based on how well they're performing it, and provides real-time feedback to improve it. This was hosted via Firebase, and is live at Yogasaan
I graduate in March 2024
, which means that I'm more than ready to start working in a full-time role. I love sports, cars, architecture, hip-hop and Taylor Swift. I'm the coworker you're missing :)
P.S: Don't believe the stats, I'm very active here :)
If you read this entire thing, I have no words :p
Thanks!
