Interim beta release for the start of the course

This is a beta and first release for the notes I wrote last year, I am doing the course this year though therefore I will be changing pretty much everything about them (the contents will be pretty much the same I feel like).

This should be a trimmed down version of everything exposed in the slides, therefore it should be more digestible and manageable.

Study hard,
Let it rip 🐻
