Using Linux distro on Windows WSL(Windows Subsystem for Linux)

Requirements: -

• Windows 10

Steps: -

1. Download and install Windows Subsystem for Linux from here and follow the steps provided there
   • I prefer Manual
2. Goto Microsoft Store app on your Windows machine and search for : -
   • Windows Terminal, then click on Get/Install
   • Ubuntu 18.04 LTS or Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, then click on Get/Install
3. To access the Ubuntu [*.04] LTS WSL (after installing on your machine)
   • From the start menu search for Ubuntu and click on the app, it would open comand prompt with Ubuntu shell or
   • Use Windows Terminal to use Ubuntu shell and/or
   • Use Visual Studio(VS) Code and search and install Remote Development Extension
