This release improves the overall playback experience:

  • For livestreams with DVR support, current program information is now displayed in a Letterbox view when the slider falls within the program time range. Outside the current program, plain livestream information is displayed instead.
  • Control center integration has been vastly improved. Times are now correct (also for DVR streams), and current program information is displayed.
  • Airplay behaviour has been improved. In particular, playing audio content does not display a black screen on an Apple TV receiver anymore, only a notification. Moreover, audio volume can be controlled from the device directly (this is not possible when casting a video, though).
  • Remote control integration has been improved. The user can seek by double / triple trapping and holding the remote control playback button. Moreover, your application can now respond to previous or next track actions triggered from a remote control.
