Welcome to MongoDB!

The source files of mongodb were downloaded from https://github.com/mongodb/mongo/archive/refs/tags/r5.0.3.tar.gz

This repo is for mongodb android static port.

The reason I do this is because the unofficial mongodb package from termux is outdated.and have ndk bug with some cannot locate Unwind_Resume symbol issue.

Why static?The reason that the unofficial mongodb package from termux is outdated is the version of libicu library unofficial mongodb depends on is 69,however it's already upgraded to 71 in official repo.statically linked binary won't have that issue,who cares disk space anymore?not me.

Why Android?GrassCutter!

The build.sh script is written for github action.

The binaries can be downloaded from action artifacts.
binaries contains mongod and mongo-tools:
 bsondump
 mongodump
 mongoimport
 mongostat
 mongo
 mongoexport
 mongorestore
 mongotop
 mongod
 mongofiles
 mongos
all statically linked.

COMPONENTS

  mongod - The database server.
  mongos - Sharding router.
  mongo  - The database shell (uses interactive javascript).

UTILITIES

  install_compass   - Installs MongoDB Compass for your platform.

BUILDING

RUNNING

  For command line options invoke:

    $ ./mongod --help

  To run a single server database:

    $ sudo mkdir -p /data/db
    $ ./mongod
    $
    $ # The mongo javascript shell connects to localhost and test database by default:
    $ ./mongo
    > help

INSTALLING COMPASS

  You can install compass using the install_compass script packaged with MongoDB:

    $ ./install_compass

  This will download the appropriate MongoDB Compass package for your platform
  and install it.

DRIVERS

  Client drivers for most programming languages are available at
  https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/applications/drivers/. Use the shell
  ("mongo") for administrative tasks.

PACKAGING

  Packages are created dynamically by the package.py script located in the
  buildscripts directory. This will generate RPM and Debian packages.
