Changes

  • Implement MacDirtyCow exploit
  • Implement version checking for MDC and run it only once per boot
  • Implement Riley's toggle for MDC
  • (Not on purpose) A lot of file formatting
  • I had to comment out something that @nythepegasus added to the file picker as it seemed to not work?

Todo before merge

  • MDC Exploit
  • Only run once per boot
  • More device testing
  • (Maybe?) Add whitelist built in for convenience?
  • Undo more stupid changes (version number etc)
  • Fix the weird changes in this diff with minimuxer and em_proxy (I believe I changed the build scripts to well, not build (to speed up build time, but this is a local-only thing so I need to revert it)

You might want to revert the em_proxy / minimuxer project changes

What is going on with this PR?

I'd like to petition to close this PR, SideStore on versions under iOS 17 is mostly superseded by TrollStore, especially on versions supporting MacDirtyCow which shouldn't need this exploit, even when SideStore is used to install the initial TrollStore helper.

I agree with this notion. Especially since we could integrate trollstore helper support via urlschemes or other methods as it's more easy to support new versions and also get trollstore updates without updating SideStore.
