Hi, what operating system do you use? There are many different versions for all kinds of computers.

Hi, unfortunately it's not that easy, especially as the java version doesn't seem to be available in a ready-to-play format. Privately (and not as an employee of a company) I would suggest you upgrade Windows to the latest version (provided you own a legal copy it should be a free upgrade) and then either install Micropolis for Windows from the Microsoft Store or Retro City. Both are free apps, Micropolis for Windows has been developed by me as a port of the Java version. Playing one of these apps has the advantage that you do not need to install additional software, such as Java.

Hi,

A java build of the last version (1.7) is available here: MicropolisJ 1.7

You should have Java installed on your computer, then you can launch the game by double-clicking on the micropolisj.jar file.

How do I run micropolis under Ubuntu 18.04 ?
perhaps you should investigate whether a wiki, detailing the installation would be very beneficial or not ?

V. inclined to suggest that it is.
