Example not working after installation

Got the error when I ran the example

how did you install proxsuite?

I guess you have some problem with your virtual env. Could you try to follow this:

conda create --name proxsuite_pip python=3.11
conda activate proxsuite_pip
pip install proxsuite

on a windows machine I tested this just now and it works without any problems to import proxsuite:

(proxsuite_pip) C:\Users\ci>python -c "import proxsuite; print(proxsuite.__file__)
C:\Users\ci\anaconda3\envs\proxsuite_pip\Lib\site-packages\cmeel.prefix\lib\python3.11\site-packages\proxsuite\proxsuite_pywrap_avx2.pyd

(and also run the example, of course.)

Not using anaconda. I am using the following for development

windows 10
vs code
python 3.11.4

It is installed by pip.

It did not work and raised the same error. Installed it using the conda manger and it worked. I'll mark this as resolved for now. I would still like to know why pip raised an error in virtual environement created by python3 venv and conda.
