Beyond this, Snipaste does not collect or store any personal data. All screenshots and images processed by Snipaste remain on your local device. It is your responsibility to manage and protect this local data.

3. Network Access

3.1 Microsoft Store Versions

The Microsoft Store version of Snipaste do not require network access for core functionality, except for downloading images at users' request.

3.2 Desktop Versions (Windows/Mac/Linux)

Desktop versions access the network only for the following purposes:

User-Initiated Actions: Downloading images at your request (e.g., pinning an image from the internet).
Automatic Updates: Checking for software updates.
When activating, refreshing, or deactivating the professional license.

During update checks, desktop versions of Snipaste transmit the following non-personal information for telemetry purposes:
