I'm a self-taught passionate Backend and FrontEnd developer from Buenos Aires.
I graduated as a Software Engineer from the National Technological University(UTN F.R.G.P.). I consider myself an analytical and organized Software developer, used to working under pressure and looking for new experiences and learning in the field of programming and IT in general. I enjoy coming up with innovative ideas and finding optimal solutions.
My passion is not limited to programming, but also covers other areas of IT, such as cybersecurity and server infrastructure. In addition, I have extensive experience in hardware, having been involved in the building, maintenance and repair of computers for a while(Almost 10 years). On the other hand, in the field of software, my training as a Software Engineer gave me knowledge in the development of applications in several languages, such as C, C++, C#, Java (in the back-end), SQL Server (in the Data management field), HTML, CSS and Javascript(in the front-end)among others.
I have experience in the use of concepts and GIT practices, as well as the theory of the development of applications such as Classes(OOP). In addition, I am familiar with Agile methodologies, especially focused on SCRUM.
I am excited to find a place where I can apply my knowledge, add value and expand my experience in the field of programming and IT. I am open to new opportunities and challenges that allow me to continue growing professionally.
I started my coding journey as a naive Software Engineer student with a passion to learn everything I could about programming, mostly everything related to: code, unix based OS, linux, theory and so long and so forth .
And all the while, teaching myself development with a dream to build my own apps, but that soon got overshadowed by my desire to excel in Java and Csharp.
A desire that landed me a my first software engineering job upon graduation, but not what I expected. It was a low-code for a company platform that worked with flat Javascript.
So, I had another desire I had been pursuing urge to grow in the back-end area as in that company I was working at , nothing remotely related was being done in that area.To put it eloquently I was begining to understand that I was loosing time there.
I eventually ended up quitting that job to pursue a new job working for a small company, and that has been my focus ever since. But there's something that's always bothered me about my journey - abandoning my dream of working as a full time back-end developer over the safe route, getting any job at IT.
Now I've already taken the leap away from that safety net into this uncomfortable unavoidable truth, looking for my place in this world .
And it worked out, but again, it became comfortable. It's easier to create a work a regular job than go out on a ledge and get out of the confortable zone and persue your dreams. I do have to eat, at the end of the day, but I think it's time. It's time to get uncomfortable again.
I have a burning desire to get back on the horse, and fulfill that dream younger me had of being an experienced backend developer.
And in order to do that, I'll focus more time on fulfilling that dream(Improving all my hardskills and softskills as well) - a dream that I'll be ready to tackle this 2024 (I hope so)due to the measure I'm putting in place now until the end of 2023. Don't wait up, because I'm coming.
