I am Deshan Koshala Sumanathilaka, a passionate researcher and lecturer specializing in Machine Translation, Computer Linguistics, Transliteration, Machine Learning, and Bioinformatics. Professional Experience

I work as a Visiting lecturer at the Informatics Institute of Technology. In this role, I am actively involved in shaping the minds of future technologists while conducting cutting-edge research in my areas of expertise.

Research Interests

  • Machine Translation: Exploring techniques and algorithms to enable seamless and accurate translation between languages.
  • Computer Linguistics: Investigating the application of computational methods to analyze and understand human language.
  • Transliteration: Developing efficient algorithms and models to convert text from one script to another while preserving its meaning.
  • Machine Learning: Applying machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems and extract valuable insights from data.
  • Bioinformatics: Leveraging computational methods to analyze biological data, unravel genetic patterns, and discover novel drug targets.
