7.4.0 (Monitoring effect chains)

Important! If you are using tools for the first time, please read Beginner's guide and AlienFX-GUI readme to configure out it's concept and operation principle.

Warning! Configuration format is changed in this release, so you lost all monitoring effect settings in case you roll it back!

Changes into this release:

AlieFX-GUI:

• Monitoring effect rebuilt:
  • Now you can have unlimited amount of different effects assigned to the same zone (effect chain).
  • For each effect in the chain, the result of the previous effect will be taken as a source color, then a new color calculated based on effect and system settings.
  • After the last effect in chain calculated, the resulted color will be applied to the zone lights.
  • You can not use effect chains into older versions of app. In case you roll back, all effect chain data will be lost. But this version will convert your previously defined effects into new format.
• Light color refresh logic clarified. Now application will not change lights involved into active effect settings in most cases (less color change and avoid light blink). Full lights update can be done at profile change or "Refresh" button pressed.
• Bug fixed: Device effect not reset correctly at profile change.

Known issues:

• Old (pre-7.3.0) global effect settings will be lost - it can not be converted to device effect settings correctly.
