Before, we needed to set
TREXIO_DEVEL=1and--enable-maintainer-modeto configure the repo downloadded from GitHub. Now, these options are set automatically when the.git/directory is present in the repository. So the default behavior of users should work by simply doing./configure && make && make checkin all situations, even if they don't read the documentation ;-)
