Surface bleeding

  • Biomes now have the ability for their surfaces to bleed into other biomes' surfaces, and for other biomes' surfaces to bleed into them.
    • The bleed radius is a global config.
    • Surface bleeding is disabled by default for all biomes, except Beach, Stone Beach, and Cold Beach.

Mesa biome variants

  • Re-surfaced, re-decorated & added biome configurable surface blocks to all Mesa variants.

Savanna Plateau biome variants

  • Re-terrained Savanna Plateau and Savanna Plateau M biomes to use the new plateau design found in Mesa biomes.
  • Savanna Plateau M now defaults to stone/cobble surface instead of plateau gradient blocks.

Config options

  • Plateau configs are now biome-specific instead of global.

Under the hood

  • DecoCollections now require a biome config object to be instantiated.
  • Added IRTGWorld and de-exposed RTGWorld.
  • Exposed IBiomeProviderRTG to the API.

Non-Overworld Support (WIP)

  • RTG can now generate terrain in dimensions other than the Overworld. (Note: this feature is not fully implemented yet.)

Organic Biomes

  • RTG will now generate mod biomes, even if RTG doesn't have realistic versions of them. For example, if you install a biome-adding mod for which RTG doesn't have inherent biome support, RTG will still generate the biomes from that mod. However, the terrain will not be RTG terrain. (Note: these 'organic' biomes do not have biome configs.)

Volcanoes

Terrain

  • Re-designed BOP Crag. (This will probably change again. Feedback welcome.)

Surfaces

  • Re-surfaced BOP Lush Desert (more grass).

Decorations

  • Fewer fallen logs in Roofed Forest M.
  • Re-decorated vanilla Jungle variants to be less dense.
  • Re-decorated BOP Woodland.
  • Added sponge to Deep Ocean floor (configurable in biome config).

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug related to gaps/streaks in RTG decorations
  • RTG boulders now replace double plants properly.
  • BOP Coniferous Forest variants now use correct fallen log block.

Config options

  • Added biome config: FALLEN_LOG_DENSITY_MULTIPLIER
  • Added config option to adjust the size of the volcano calderas

  • Setup the initial framework for RTG generator settings and GUI Config system.
  • Added Polish translation (thanks @Artur96!)

Biome support

Terrain

  • Improved river system.
  • Re-terrained several vanilla biomes (Extreme Hills variants, Mesa variants, Ocean variants).
  • Re-terrained several BOP biomes (Bamboo Forest, Crag, Land of Lakes, Bayou).

Surfaces

  • Re-surfaced Extreme Hills variants.
  • Added biome-configurable arctic surfaces to Ice Plains and Ice Mountains.
  • Mushroom Island variants now have Mushroom Island Shore beaches by default.

Decorations

  • Snow layers in Extreme Hills variants start from around Y=120 instead of Y=90 (configurable, see below for more info).
  • Added sponge to the floors of Deep Ocean.
  • Re-decorated vanilla Taiga biome variants.
  • Re-decorated Roofed Forest to have fewer mob spawns under canopy.
  • Better BOP biome decoration.
  • Added ice trees to Ice Plains Spikes (configurable).

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some BOP biomes were getting decorated more than once.
  • Fixed an issue with shrubs not generating when they're supposed to.
  • Fixed an issue related to RTG's lush river bank surfacing interfering with Streams generation.
