I tried looking on the first few pages of issues to see if this had been reported yet, however, I didn't find anything. Please forgive me if this has been reported previously.
Sometimes, piped.video (or other instances) have to update some data in the browser. This means reloading the page after new data is collected. Usually, this is fine, however, I've noticed that all the Piped tabs I have open, even inactive ones, reload at the same time. This causes a lot of videos to start playing at once, and not only does my computer lag, it also causes a very loud and painful noise to play.
To Reproduce
Open a few Piped tabs.
Wait for Piped to update / refresh, and then start a new video. I don't know what it is that does this, but I've been told it's some way to update the instance.
See all the Piped tabs start playing from the very beginning.
Expected behavior
The Piped tabs should not play, or not refresh at all. The time in the video that was being watched gets reset too, so that may be important for another new issue, if not existing already.
