The Canyon biome is a wild west inspired dry biome with sprawling arches and canyon cliff faces. This biome is the home of the Bryce tree, a spindly rooted tree that survives in the heart of the canyon.
The Canyon is a three-part biome, generating in the dry climate zone:
- Canyon Cliffs (
terrestria:canyon_cliffs): The primary Canyon area. - Canyon Arches (
terrestria:canyon_arches): The part of the biome where you can find eroded canyon arches. - Canyon Edge (
terrestria:canyon_edge): The brink of the canyon.
The Canyon is generated in dry climates and is often found surrounded by desert biomes.
The Canyon Biome was the first biome created for the 2.0.0 (Dry) update.
