there is no exclude or cherry pick option for this right now, i checked how the calculation decides which days count. it looks at the last 35 days, and a day only counts when the food items logged for that day add up to more than zero and there is a weight for the day, and it needs at least 21 of those days before it will give a number at all. the workaround that keeps your journal intact is to put the rough estimate for that day in the day notes instead of logging it as food items. the calculation only reads the food items and the weight from a day and never looks at the notes, so a day that only has a note on it gets skipped completely, while the estimate is still sitting on that day's page when you want to look back at it. the trade off is that the rough foods will not show up as eaten food for that day anymore, they are just text in the note. as long as you still have 21 properly logged days inside the 35 day window the number keeps working, so a few rough days handled this way do not break it. |
Uh oh!

The current TDEE auto-calculation uses the most recent 21 days of weight/calorie intake data. Is there a way to cherry pick data from specific days? Sometimes I only have time for rough estimates of my calorie intake. I still want to use the journal to get a rough estimate (by inputting some foods or ingredients close to what I ate). I don't want this to pollute my TDEE calculation. My current workaround is to just do the rough tracking, and then delete the diary data for the day, but it's pretty tedious.
