The aim of this user test is to gain feedback from users both gamers and non-gamers about the design of the weapons/projectiles and animation. Participants are briefed about the game and the environment that the projectiles will be used.
Please refer to the wiki page: Projectiles
2 groups of participants consisting of gamers and non-gamers will be asked to play the game and to look at individual design sprites.
Participants will be interviewed individually and their feedback will be recorded in a document. Questions range from if the projectile type suits the tree or player it is fired from, if sizes are appropriate, colours are suitable and easy to make out from terrain.
- 30%- said that projectile size could be bigger
- 75%- said that colours matched worlds
- 80% agreed that weapon classes match trees/players
- 80% wanted more weapon classes for players
