the website is
https://usrse.github.io/usrseweb/

can we make
https://usrse.github.io/
work too?

@danielskatz I was assuming we would wait until we had tidied up a little more and maybe pinged a few more people before attaching to an official looking URL. We did register usrse.org, so we can use that if we like it - I was thinking that would be final CNAME?

I need one more Friday evening to make a nice slack sign up. I decided to learn some AWS Lambda + serverless for that, so got distracted……

Yeah, I was just revisiting this in advance of the SC18 RSE BOF and wondering why it ended up buried like this. I see no reason not to move it up to https://usrse.github.io/ regardless of whether we associate a custom domain or anything.

My proposal would be to simply rename the repository and create a new repo in the original location with a simple redirect to the new site so that anyone who has the current URL won't get lost. I've done this for other repos. I'm not sure whether I have time to get this done today (before the BOF Wednesday noon).

Now that we have us-rse.org set up. I think we can close this.
