Up1 does not yet support chucked file upload or encryption and at this time
is intended for small files which fit in memory.

I have created issue #24 (File upload limit on the particular host you used is likely set to 50MB but it tried to upload anyway) and #25 (To try to ease up on the amount of memory we use) to track this issue better.
