Welcome stranger!

I'm glad you made it so far and read this wiki.

The lilith-discord-bot v4.0 is based on the code created by LilithTheDeveloper in pap-discordbot in 2019 (last checked on june 2020) and my own modifications since then, all changes done under MIT Licence published in both projects.

Having said that, let's talk about what you came for! It's common for roleplayers to try their best to personify their characters and have a fun session with friends, allies or enemies. Given that, some of them change their nicknames in game platforms to their prefered war tag, but when you are having multiple sessions in a same server it becames difficult to keep track of your special nickname in a determined channel. And here is where this little bot comes in aid!

It allows you to have different nicknames depending on the channel you are connected. You can set your own nickname by discord graphic interface and, also, if you have the right permissions or role, change the nicknames of other players. The best part yet, is that you don't have to worry about cleanning the registries when a player leaves the server or you have deleted a channel, the bot does it for you. It's like having your own buttler!

But, anyway, if you use your server to play role games frecuently, then you certainly have a dice roller bot configured in your server. And we know that having lots of bots working in your server can be a nightmare... So... for your convenience, we have integrated a dice roller in this bot!

It helps you to roll any number of dice you need and any dice type you require with infinite roll modifiers. Even roll different groups of dice with modifiers in the same throw. The bot shows you the total result of the dice thrown and also the individual result for each one of them, if you need to choose an specific value from the result.

All this with fancy embed messages, courtesy of discord.js, and friendly written messages as you can give the bot a personality in your server. You want it to be a sweet elf maid, an smart dragon pet or an evil robot, feel free to personalize your bot rewritting the messages (if you know how to code in node.js, obviously...).

Finally, please write me a GitHub Issue if you found any bug or malfunctioning, or if you had an improvement idea! All comments are welcome.

Enjoy your friendly bot!
