I gave this a good testing and so far I'm seeing no issues. And to confirm, the image width issue is fixed here:

So I looked into the nav e2e test failures, and I think it's coming from this behavior. If a navigation link has selection, we need two clicks to make the quick inserter to appear: Branch: navquickinserter.mp4Trunk: trunkinserter.mp4 |

Leaving a note that I also verified that this fixes the wide image alignment noted in the linked issue. Once we have a fix for the double click to select a nav inserter, this should be good to try and land. ✅ This PR is on a little bit of the riskier side since |

This bug happened because of a series of unrelated changes:
wp-block) is applied to other blocks. I'm not sure why we didn't just revert the change to the block selector in these Dom utilities instead.wp-blockhas an important meaning that is broken by Fix selecting aligned blocks #31904, it's the class that theme authors use to define the width of blocks and should only be applied to the top wrapper elements of blocks, so in case of aligned blocks, it should only be applied to the wrapper that has thedata-alignedattribute. This means that Fix selecting aligned blocks #31904 broke the width of the aligned blocks.--
I'm fixing both bugs (selection and widths) by only applying
wp-blockto the external wrapper and reverting the selector used for the Dom utilities. While this works in my testing, I'm still unsure why the selector has been changed in the first place in #30995 so we need to test this properly.
