What is World of Addons?

World of Addons is an open source addon manager for World of Warcraft.

Install any addon from CurseForge or WoWInterface. Simply copy & paste an addon's URL from your browser into World of Addons and hit enter!

World of Addons will handle installing, uninstalling, and checking/installing updates.

This project was developed because we could not find a user-friendly, open source alternative to the Twitch/Curse client; a project that is very bloated and lacks transparency.

World of Addons is written in javascript using Electron, Webpack, and React frameworks. It uses a modular web-crawler to parse websites and install/update addons.

World of Addons is not affiliated with World of Warcraft or Blizzard Entertainment. We do not claim ownership over any addon or website that distributes addons. All addons or websites mentioned belong to their respective authors.
