- Replaces the Store tile on the home screen with WK Autoloader.
- Runs the Relapse jailbreak from the tile, then opens Elf Launcher by itself.
- Works offline after install. Send the ELF again only to reinstall or update.
- Each install clears the old WebKit cache first, so the cache is always filled from scratch.
- A separate Restore ELF puts the original PlayStation Store tile back.
- PS5 firmware 7.00–13.60 (Relapse).
- elfldr listening on port
9021. - A way to send an ELF to elfldr, for example after an earlier jailbreak.
If an older WK Autoloader Store is already installed, send the Restore ELF first, reboot, then install 1.2.1. That clears leftovers so the new AppCache can fill cleanly.
- Send
WK_Autoloader_Store_V1.2.1.elfto elfldr on port9021. - Wait until the install finishes, then reboot the console.
- Open the Store tile on the home screen.
- Press Start Jailbreak. After Relapse completes, Elf Launcher opens automatically.
Send WK_Autoloader_Store_Restore_V1.2.1.elf to elfldr on port 9021, then reboot. This restores the Store tile and removes leftover WK Autoloader folders and cache data.
Changes since 1.2.0.
- Auto-start delay can be set to 0s (start immediately, no countdown).
- Choosing 0s is saved as 0 and is not rewritten to the default.
- If the console is already jailbroken, the UI shows that state instead of running the chain again.
- First Store open after install shows a clear offline-cache fill percent; later opens use the stable AppCache and start instantly from memory.
- Store Restore puts the PlayStation Store tile back and also removes leftover WK Autoloader app folders and cache data (no backups kept).
- Before upgrading from an older WK Autoloader Store install, run Restore first, reboot, then install 1.2.1.
Changes since 1.1.4.
- Install keeps the existing Store AppCache. No more automatic wipe.
- A backup is made before any cache clear (/data/wkal/appcache_backup/).
- Store Restore clears only the Store AppCache origin, nothing else.
- The installer waits for "Offline cache complete" before it finishes.
- When the firmware is unknown, the full manifest is used.
- Faster jailbreak: about 3.3s down to about 2.9s (quicker elfldr poll and faster ELF copy).
- Per-stage timing in ms, shown in the log and in Recent.
All versions are on the releases page.
The first jailbreak right after installing the Store (or after a clean install or cache wipe) can occasionally freeze the console or cause a kernel panic. On that first run WebKit is still writing the Store's offline AppCache to disk while the exploit runs, and the extra disk and memory activity during its timing-sensitive phase can make it fail. Once the cache is fully written, later jailbreaks load from cache and are stable.
If it freezes, hold the power button to restart the console and run the jailbreak again; it usually works from the second run. To lower the risk, wait until the Store install has fully finished before your first jailbreak; the freeze is most likely while the AppCache is still being written right after install or after a cache wipe.
