Nexus Browser

We have shifted our focus to a new implementation to better serve our users. This README contains information about the current, actively developed version of Nexus Browser.

Disclaimer

This browser is still in development and is not currently supported by official paid development teams. As a result, certain features may not work as expected up to 10% of the time. Please submit issues for bug fixes or feature requests, or join the Discord and contact @CEO or @founder to chat with the main developer and owner.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to improve the Nexus Browser.

Overview

Nexus Browser is a modern web browser built with Electron and TypeScript. It allows users to browse the internet and access various websites. The browser includes features such as tab management, bookmarking, downloads, ad blocking, customizable settings, and a basic extension system.

Structure

The repository is structured as follows:

  • src: Contains the source code for the Nexus Browser implementation.
  • dist: Contains the compiled JavaScript files.
  • resources: Contains various resource files used by the browser.
  • webpack.renderer.config.js: Webpack configuration for the renderer process.
  • package.json: Defines the project dependencies and scripts.
  • tsconfig.json: TypeScript configuration file.
  • .eslintrc: ESLint configuration for code linting.
  • LICENSE: Contains the license agreement for the Nexus Browser.

Building

To build Nexus Browser:

  1. Ensure you have Node.js and npm installed.
  2. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/YeonSphere/Nexus.git
  3. Navigate to the project directory: cd Nexus
  4. Install dependencies: npm install
  5. Build the project: npm run build
