Operational mint-health data could be a useful addition to mint selection, especially for uptime, latency, supported NUTs, and published input fees. The data should be presented as operational information rather than a safety or solvency score. A mint being online and responsive does not prove that it is solvent or trustworthy. A possible integration could include:
It would also be useful to cache the result, show when it was last updated, and allow users to refresh it manually. Signed Nostr records could help verify that the data came from the monitoring service, but the UI should still avoid presenting it as an endorsement. |

Hey, I'm the author of MintRadar, an open-source site that keeps an eye on public Cashu mints: uptime and latency checked every 5 minutes, plus a history of key, keyset and fee changes.
I saw Zeus lets users pick Cashu mints through NIP-87 discovery. MintRadar could add uptime, latency and input fees for each mint, so users can see how a mint has been running before they add it.
There's a free, read-only API (no key, additive changes only) with filters for method, max input fee, NUTs and unit, plus signed Nostr events (kind 30385) for the health records. Just operational data, no verdict on solvency or custody.

If a field is missing or a mint is described wrongly, I'd be glad to hear it.
