A bug about expanding residence high limit

There is a residence high limit bug:
While I'm standing on the overworld and expand a nether residence,the high limit of this res can be expanded more than 256
like this image:

But then i'm standing on the nether and expend this residence,the high limit return to 256
like this:

It's too terrible!
