I am attempting to package the software for Void Linux however they do not accept master branches or specific commits for their packages.

The most recent release (Tag v0.6.5) is many months behind master and fails to compile thus making it a poor candidate to use. I personally have used the software in the master branch and applied it on 3TB of data without failure (Might I add how effective this software is, It shrunk my 3TB to 2.2TB!!) so I can speak to the stability of the current project. Please look into making a dedicated, functional release.

Could you (and anyone interested in having a release tag soon) give #189 and #190 some testing and feedback?

bees is good for a v0.7 release tag, but I'd like to get the beesd and systemd integration sorted so I don't have to immediately push out v0.7.1.

Well, I wanted to create a v0.7 tag locally, but send it after the results came in on this and other issues...and I pushed the tag unintentionally instead. So here is release v0.7. Hopefully it doesn't have any paper-bag problems.
