Stock Prediction Project Introduction

This stock prediction website project is for collecting current stock data and using the current data predict the next day stock market trend. According to our studies, machine learning techniques have been applied to stock market prediction. Plenty of researches shows a strong potential of using machine learning technique to predict the stock market trend. However, the accuracy is still needed to be increased. In our study, we are going to use classical machine learning models which have been examined and approved by previous studies. Meanwhile, our web-based system will continually collect data from US, Euro and China stock market and combine with classical machine learning models to build the prediction model. We will also include more parameters such as the relationship between the stocks from the same market area. The accuracy of stock prediction is expected to increase with the self-learning of our model and accumulating of the stock data.
