I2C 16 bit reads do not work on TMP006

In this post, I compare the datasheet protocol specs for I2C 16 bit reads on the BMP085 and the TMP006. They appear identical, yet the BMP085 works and the TMP006 does not:

The 16 bit functions have just been updated in the core I2C library, which should resolve problems like this
