BRING BACK METROIDS! #20
Comments
Bay has slimes, we could be different and change the fluff back to metroids. |
Not change back. Bring back. I like slimes and they work fairly well. I Think they would be more suited for digesting their food rather than suck their life force out. Leave just bones laying instead of the body. Metroids on the other hand do suck out life force. |
Having both as they are is redundant, but if you can make enough variation between the two to warrant both to coexist, go for it. |
Fixes EFTPOS units failing to connect to account DB.
That's exactly what this topic is about. I want to know what others think metroids and slimes should be. I already stated that slimes should digest flesh and leave bones while metroids suck out the life force of creatures. I'm also trying to figure out if metroids can survive in space and whenever or not space is cold (I remember your rant on the topic but that's not so in the code). Both metroids and slimes would be weak to cold, metroids because they are and slimes because liquid based. Metroids could be used as an energy source because of all that life they eat. We could do what the Space Pirates failed to do or even train them maybe. Slime can be tamed after all. Still, I leave this issue up to further debate. |
I'm assigning this to you because you're the only one who would know how to do this that would even bother trying. |
So I've noticed something while messing with the code. Everything in the metroid directory under mobs is fitted for slimes. I mean everything. They didn't change the names of the files or folders. It's annoying in the least for me but I liked the idea of having metroids before. I want them back in.
The only problems I can see in this is giving them a purpose and/or a use. Slimes (and roros before them) have replaced metroids with the use of their cores. I would suppose a random event where they appear in the game would work. I want what others think though.
