It would be nice to have a containerized delivery of spigo, especially for when we get the UI hooked up directly to the backend.

How were you thinking the backend and UI would work together? I'm imagining an additional toolbar in the UI which has inputs for all config. This would be especially interesting with the implementation of #36.

yes, there needs to be a toolbar to control the simulation, and a direct hookup over websocket or http/2 server push between the ui and spigo.
