In order to emulate the serial port and send custom DTMF sequences, follow the manual:
-
Open a new terminal window and run the following command to allocate a pseudo-terminal.
socat -d -d pty,raw,echo=0 pty,raw,echo=0
You will get something like this:
2017/01/28 16:43:09 socat[13278] N PTY is /dev/pts/20 2017/01/28 16:43:09 socat[13278] N PTY is /dev/pts/21 2017/01/28 16:43:09 socat[13278] N starting data transfer loop with FDs [5,5] and [7,7]
-
Launch server with
--port
option:node BE/server.js --port=/dev/pts/20
-
Send DTMF sequences to the second PTY port:
echo 0108 > /dev/pts/21
