Air conditioner went offline #28
Comments
Hello @witmannmark Do they work for some time and then stop? Based on the report you've sent I see that homey can not reach your HVACs and mark them as offline. Could you please check that you ACs and homey are in the same network subnet? Related ticket #22 |
Yes, the same network. Now i added theese again. 192.168.245.81, 192.168.245.85, 192.168.245.192.168.245.79 . Its that possible the AC-s change IP adress during the time? |
Application uses mac address to find specific HVAC from the all known. Could you please try to restart an Gree app when any HVAC goes offline. Will HVAC start work after the app restart? |
Now i find the reason of the problem. I dont know why but when i add now again climatisation the ip was different. Sutuatin is that climatisations ip adres is not static. Existing some to fix that problem? |
@witmannmark could you restart an app in case when it's showing offline status like described in my previous message? |
Now i try and its a true. When i go back to gree app after closing it air conditioner go online again in homey app. |
I set up in router fix ip adresses for ac-s. At now looks like ac-s cant go offline. Now homey see it few hours more... |
@witmannmark I'm fixing the bug related to switching to offline in case of changing ip address of AC. Please share your email address which is used for homey with me and I'll release alpha version with fix to test when it will be ready. |
At now i have other errors. (Device not avaiable, maybe app was disabled. You do it?). Mail adress is: witmannmark@gmail.com |
Hi! Unfortunately, the app crashed while I was doing the following: (...) This is the stack trace:dgram.js:638 Error [ERR_SOCKET_DGRAM_NOT_RUNNING]: Not running |
Thanks for the info. I got this crash report.
It's related to the crash above.
I've added you as an alpha tester. |
