spfwalk recursively looks up SPF records for the domains passed in on the command line or stdin, printing the results to stdout, one line per record.
The output is a list of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and blocks.
spfwalk imports records from include domains, follows redirect directives, resolves a names and mx directives found in SPF records.
- Fully-recursive look ups
- Specify just IPv4 or IPv6 records (defaults to both)
See the man page for further details.
spfwalk is currently OpenBSD-centric due to 1) the Makefile, and 2) the use of pledge(2).
Portability is in the works.
Given a domain like gmail.com spfwalk
will return:
spfwalk gmail.com
