GRTensorIII is an add-on package for the Maple computer algebra system.
It:
- performs component and basis calculations for General Relativity
- defines a large number of standard tensor, basis and NP objects
- allows new objects to be defined and calculated
- is used to calculate objects of interest in specific spacetimes
- allows the entry of new spacetimes in tensor or basis form interactively
- is intended to work on all platforms (PC, Mac or Linux)
- has been validated on Mac (ElCap/Sierra) and Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) using Maple 2015 to 2019
