I see there is no package.json in the repository. Trying to build/install the solution but have many issues with dependencies, modules.

you can see the steps to build the package here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkyS8-JrAXU, it is for the styled switch, but mostly should be the same process.
Why are you trying to build the package from scratch? Isn't the managed solution properly working?
P.s. This is an open source package, meaning if there is something to add, we should all benefit by making it public.

I wanted to see if there was a way to change the colors of the switch (ie red when off, green when on), Not sure it there was a sylesheet or if code needs to be changed to allow it. also, if it was possible to have the colors provided when the control is added to a form/field.
it this possible to do it via configuration on managed solution?

we have different versions of the multiswitch. Based on FluentUI or Material Design. I think we can add some parameters to the control like:

• Switched On Color hex code, if empty use default.
• Switched Off Color hex code, if empty use default.
• Use OptionSet Color for enum Switched On | Switched Off | Ignore

Not sure i understand the 3rd parameter. But yes, having ability to set colors would be a great enhancement.

Choices have a Color property, which can be read from the metadata 😄
I will create an issue with a feature request, and probably one of my colleagues can pick it up
