Hello @evoracer1337 In Cobra, the syscall 389 has a hook that disables the internal fan control if webMAN or any other application use this syscall. LV2_HOOKED_FUNCTION_COND_POSTCALL_3(int, sm_set_fan_policy_sc, (uint8_t unk, uint8_t _fan_mode, uint8_t _fan_speed))
{
fan_control_running = 0; // Disable internal fan control if fan speed is set manually via syscall 389
return DO_POSTCALL;
}If you uncheck the option "Enable dynamic fan control" or select "SYSCON", webMAN never will try to control the fan settings. |

Hello, I am curious are there any conflicts regarding FAN Control when using
webMAN 1.47.48qwith latestevilnatCFW (Latest available for now, CEX, 4.93 with fixes which are shipped via pkg installed? Hardware is CECH-25xxB. Before evilnat update I used webman to keep the temp I'd like to have but latest version has nice controls in the xmb + ps2 mode so I'd like to use them instead of webman's but I noticed that in a normal ps3 games temps were getting above what I've chosen in xmb (set 65, RSX was 70 and when re-applied after exit - fans gor revved for a few seconds which made me think webman's fan control conflicts with evilnat's one. How to set webman to not interact with fans? Just uncheck the checkbox? Because then it marks 'SYSCON' as active choice and I am worried will it overwrite evilnat's fan control choice again but this time to SYSCON.All reactions
